Mental Health Crisis Response for Public Safety (CIT-Based)

A self-paced, CIT-based mental health crisis response course for law enforcement, built on the Memphis Model of Crisis Intervention Team training. Covers recognizing signs and symptoms of mental illness and substance-use crisis, CIT de-escalation skills, suicide risk and intervention, legal and liability considerations, community resources and diversion (care over custody), and scenario-based application. Sequential navigation with seat-time tracking is enforced for POST/IADLEST-style accountability. Pre-assessment opens the course; the same instrument closes it as the certificate-gating post-assessment, with per-module knowledge checks.
