Explore Step Up funding for eligible SEHG after-school and home-education courses. Eligible children's courses can be paid for with an approved Step Up scholarship or applicable ESA funds. Confirm the child's scholarship, each course's approved expense category, available balance and payment method before ordering.
Homeschool family next steps: Check the official program rules and expense handbook, apply or sign in to Step Up's EMA, and confirm the student has funded scholarship dollars. Ask whether the specific SEHG children's course is approved as instructional material, a home-education program or an eligible after-school service; category and provider authorization do not automatically approve every course or subscription.
How payment works: The Step Up handbook describes purchasing through MyScholarShop where available, or paying first and submitting an itemized receipt/invoice for reimbursement through EMA. Check the current handbook for the applicable category and any required pre-authorization; do not assume instant coverage, a guaranteed reimbursement, or a $0 checkout.
